Interpreter Scheduling  s i m p l i f i e d

Click on the Interpreter Search button (upper RH corner of the screen). Enter your Zip Code , desired Specialty or your Preferred Interpreter's 4-digit ESNumber. The Interpreter profiles of certified Interpreters nearest you will be featured in order of proximity.  

STEP 2 Click on the Interpreter's photo
The selected Interpreter’s profile photo is a portal to his/her scheduling account.


STEP 3 Check Interpreter availability calendar

Some interpreters may have elected to post an availability calendar, to facilitate scheduling.  If you have questions, e-mail the Interpreter directly, and s/he will be happy to clarify availability.

STEP 4 Email the Interpreter directly with your request, or fill out and submit a Request form
Authorized requesters can submit a completed Request form with assignment details including the date, time, duration, location and type of appointment.  Request forms are located below the profile photo & calendar section.

STEP 5 Await confirmation from Interpreter
Your request will be e-mailed directly to the Interpreter.  You can expect a response within 24 hours!


Cancel a Scheduled Appointment

NEW! Requesters can also send a Cancellation directly to the Interpreter.  See Interpreter's photo profile page; cancellation form is at the bottom of the page below the Request form. IMPORTANT: Cancellations must be made with sufficient advance notice (ie: several business days...consult Interpreter for specific cancellation policy.) Always await confirmation from Interpreter that the cancellation has been received and follow up if you do not hear back within 24 hours.

Things to consider when scheduling

  • The information transmitted through the website is encrypted and secure. The confidentiality of your communication is protected by a 128-bit SSL certificate.

  • Each Interpreter is responsible to maintain an updated calendar (if posted) and respond to requests for service. The scheduling calendars serve as a guide and are not availability guarantees. Factors such as travel time, prolonged appointments, cancelled/No-shows appointments, emergency requests, etc… can impact scheduling. Always direct your questions to the independently contracting Interpreter. Our goal at EyeSign is to provide an opportunity for direct scheduling with credentialed interpreters.

  • Contracting terms vary. Standard practice for professional interpreters includes, but is not limited to:


    • Appointment length minimums (ie: 1-2 hours, half day) 

    • Cancellation policy

    • No-shows/on-site cancellations invoiced for scheduled appointment length

    • Team interpreter as needed (*see FAQ’s)

    • Mileage reimbursement

    • Travel time reimbursement
